on start up, all conditions are normal, after about 10 minutes of driving engine shuts down.

Check igniton control module in distributor

thankyou, thats what I replaced, truck runs fine. took module to local napa store, they have equipment to test modules. mine was bad. you from snow country, originally from upstate ny, now live in georgia, have son in anchorage, do a lot of fishing and hunting up there. thanks again for responding!!! happy holidays. ps also responded to posts after mine that sounded similar.
