Heard a tic while cleaning the snow off. I see marks on the inside of the shroud where a blade hitting. common problem? seems to get worse after backing up.any ideas? ty in advance

If the shroud appears to be in place, suggest checking for a failed engine mount.

You might have a broken motor mount allowing the motor to sit a little off center. Or if it just started with the cold weather it could be as simple as the cold causing the fan shroud to deform.
