Anyone know how to change the cig lighter wiring so it turns off with key

2004 silverado 4x4 extended cab. Or the accessory jack next to it, both are on all the time want one of them to trun off when key is off.

Can you access the wiring of the jack you want to modify? Can you access a wire that is hot only when the ignition is on? Franko
