The truck starts with the remote starter but then shuts off when the brake pedal is applied after the key is turned.

The truck starts with the remote starter but then shuts off when the brake pedal is applied after the key is turned.
Will it start or at least turn over with the key? Factory remote start? Was this a sudden thing or has it been getting worse?
