Had sudden loss of oil press., want to inspect pump. (125k miles did run mint) Does exhaust have to be removed from manifolds(tranny inspection cover seems very hard to remove with exhaust there), does front axle assembly have to come off, does engine need to be lifted a few inches...thx for any help Rico.
Found this on earlier post....I'll go for round 2 tomorrow. "you can pull the oil pan without lifting the engine by pulling the front diff out. On these trucks, you can have the front diff out or lowered in about 10-15 minutes"
