Damn right! Header wrap will keep the underhood temps even lower.

Farkin' eh!

Absolutely. Run duals w/glasspacks on mine and I turn my radio OFF so I can hear my exhaust!

I was thinking the same thing. Headers rule.

Not this one..............thanks for saving me the time bud........took the words right outta my mouth.

I REALLY liked the part about 4 cats (see below)! Talk about power drainage! Bwahahahaha! Goddamn...........add more performance by adding more mufflers and cats? The whole point is to REDUCE backpressure............

Better than loud for performance would be a custom post-y-Y with another set of turbos (ie: 4 turbos and even 4 cats if needed - but go figure the 02s since those days were carborated for me).

Sigh,

I've been thinking abouit picking up a set for my Elky, that is, if I don't end up dropping a BBC in her. Did you get the Performer or the Performer RPM's? They are aluminum right?

Mine are just the standard performer centerbolts. The RPMs are really intended for the higher-output engines, and for higher compression...I wanted to keep running 87 in ma tank.

You're nuts if you're gonna run a carbed engine on that Elky. Go for a TBI engine...if you think it'll require some software work,y ou can buy the megasquirt computer kit and do custom shit...but stay computerized. You've already confessed to being a non-carb person.

Who said anything about a carb? She's getting MPFI Tunnel-RAM (Accell makes a BADDASS unit!) no matter what.
