Got a loose steering wheel problem. followed the book , steering wheel off ,block plate off , lock ring off, but the book won't get me past the wires. how to pop the shell and do i need to drop the column? HELP!
Need make, model, year. Do you know the model of steering equipment you have (ie, rack and pinion, etc.)? And what is the title of "the book" you are using?
its a 90 silverado dually 3500 k series w/tilt power steering, no airbag system. chilton. update, pulled column for easier access and still cannot lower the cover.
