Sounds like the neutral safety switch burned from an overload:
This happens a lot with either as low battery or a bad starter and the solenoid drains a higher amperage than normal.

Try checking for power to the purple wire, when someone turns the key!

You need to hit the reply button when your replying to a previous post, not the new post button. Call webtv and ask them to explain it to you.
