Can I borrow it?
Way to go..!
6 spd or auto.
I have been thinking about a TL and was dead set on one. Then I saw a TSX up close and I can't really see the difference. I know the TL has a few HP more and a few more cf inside, but I don't know if I can justify the price difference. The only thing that might push me over the edge is that I am a HP freak.

The TL has a lot more torque to go along with that HP, and gets about the same gas mileage as the TSX.
I had noticed that.

I got the automatic. I was ready for something a little bigger with 4 doors. I had been driving a 97 BMW Z3 with the 2.8 and stick and was ready for a little personal comfort and balls to go with it.
Already have a '71 Mustang to play with. Like arat the need for personal comfort is sneaking up on me.
I got our TL after nine years of driving BMW 5 series cars. Two 540s and a 530. I like the TL more than the 530. It's equipped better as standard, and about $15,000 less. Hard to imagine, but the TL feels somewhat larger and roomier than the 5.
Drive both of them, and then make the decision. No comparison in my mind. If you can afford it, go with the TL.
