A6 Service manual

Hello.

I have an Audi A6 2.6 P reg in the UK and wondered if there were any service schedules on the web ? I have it serviced at a local specialist and just wanted to check they were doing all the service items as should be checked.

If no-one else does first, I'll dig out my A6 Handbook pack and type out the list of everything that should be checked/replaced in each service. Hopefully in the next day or two!

I bought a Mitchell 'ON DEMAND' System with the Audi module on ebay for less than a £5. This contain all of the service schedule etc and much more (it's on 2 CDs). Worth considering!

I've just bought an Audi A6 1.9TDi R reg and think it's the poodles privates.

Tez.

On Audi USA's website, they have the service info. Trouble is, you have to sign up for "My Audi".

Here is the link to the service pages, though it will probably ask you to register first.

Our past disagreements aside, that is a damned nice thing to do Peter.

Cheers for that (still recovering from the shock of you being pleasant to me :-))

Whether I actually get around to doing it in the next few days or not will be another matter, as I've got a few more pressing issues, like having a big tidy up and paying several ££££ worth of cheques into the bank so I can continue to put diesel into the A6, and be able to pay for things generally!!

I tried registering, and was successful. However, the recommended maintenance link does not work properly (no way to get online info) and the link to manuals does not exist. This is for a 1998 A6 quattro.

I've got a '99 A6q, and can't help think the service requirements are similar. Could you try the '99 info and feel comfortable?
