I have an Audi A4, 1.9 TDI, about 1.5 years old. It seems to have a bit of electrical problems.
Some time ago, the engine would stall immediately after starting. I had to start 2 or 3 times before the car came to life. Sometimes the Alarm lights would start blinking and I could not turn them off with the button on the dashboard. Stop the engine, start again...solution...I brought the car away and they replaced parts of the electronic circuit.
The radio has been giving problems as well. Sometimes it just didn't react to any button, only the display of the radio had a reddish glow. If I pulled out the fuse and put it back in, it started to work again. This happened a few times. Audi replaced the radio...seems to be ok now.
Yesterday I was driving home, and the cruise control stopped working. Could not switch it on anymore. When I was almost home, it started working again.
Sometimes the light on the dashboard warning regarding the brake comes on for no reason. I can still brake thank god. I think it's due to dirt or snow on the disc.
Further problems.
My rear window broke into 1 million pieces by itself. It was locked in a garage. No one has access to it but me. When entering the morning after I parked it the previous night, it was shattered.
If someone has similair problems it would be nice to hear (and what did you do to get it fixed). For the money that I spent in this car, I would expect 'german' quality as well.
