Is it common for both wheel speed sensors to go bad if/when they(mech.) replace tie rods and control arms on both sides of the front end. Is this caused by the mech. doing something wrong? If so, what and how?

Are you sure its the front end thats causing the troble? And that its the sensors? On my 96 A6 it turned out to be the rear rotors, which are replacable, mounted on bearing hub.. the sensors where OK...
If its both front sensors, they must have forgotten to reconnect them if they realy had to dismantle them..
