i need to air out trunk. (had a kerosene spill in there.) i sparayed down with vinegar.then a good shampoo is next.. is there a way to leave trunk
open overnight (garaged) without have the trunk light stay on?

If you can't find the switch and defeat it, then take out the bulb.
I kinda doubt that just the trunk light would seriously drain the battery overnight, anyway.
