120i Any Reviews from owners

I have driven it at a few occations... It seems nice, well build and quite joyfull to drive. Not that big, though - but I am also used to my e39 539d touring.

Anything in particular you are interested in knowing about it?

Well, I've had a 120d since release. Tested both that and the 120i on the BMW test track last summer, there was no comparison.

I came from the turbo golf GTI and the 120d wipes the floor with it in every way.

We went for the sport model with larger wheels, and it does make for a hard ride, particularly in the back. The leg room in the back is really bad, especially getting in and out if you are an adult (the gap in the door is hard to fit your boots through).

The sat nav is pissing me off a bit, i am hoping there is going to be a software upgrade for the whole I-Drive system, it's a bit flaky at the moment, jumps all over the place.

The drivers wing mirror grunts as it folds, the handbrake won't come on about 1 in 10 attempts and the gears could be smoother. It had it's first recall today, a bold too tight or something on the engine.

45+ mpg on a run, pushing 90+ most of the time can't be sniffed at! It is improving over time, just about done 9000 miles in it now.

However I love it, and the handling is awesome.
