1988 325 is

My 88 bmw 325is has a loud roaring coming from around the engine when i get to about 25-30 mph it gets worse when i turn left but doesn't when i turn
right any ideas what could be wrong? also wondering how hard it would be to change out axels, shocks and strutts by myself?

also when i drive it for awhile and turn it off alot of engine coolant leaks from the expansion tank pipe any ideas?

Motor Mounts can exhibit this kind of symptom. The rubber disintegrates until it's almost metal on metal - then a little turn or torque and the engine is using the body as a sounding board.
