Hmm, I wonder which 3 series has a 3.5 litre engine...

Another reason why the Washington Post outsells the Times by about 7 to 1.

Because they pick up freelance car reports?

Liberals buy expensive cars? They are anti-business and anti- capitalism.

Good thing the reporter is so knowledgeable...

"the debut of the 3.5-liter power plant from the 3 Series that will debut as the 535i"

Since BMW is selling the 3.0L twin-turbo cars in the us as 335's - it seems logical that the 5 series will be called a 535i. Can't really expect the reporter to know BMW's fudging again on the badge designation (like when they sold the 7 series turbo of the mid 80's as a 745i..)

Yeah. You don't expect any reporters to actually do any research on what they are reporting, now do you?

Well, since the reporter's web site describes her as "the first female race car driver to ever win a Dutch FIA Championship in The Netherlands", one would hope she would get it right. Or that she wouldn't report "37.7 mpg" for the new 530i - obviously using Imperial gallons, but writing for a US newspaper. And where are the Times' editors? Oh well, at least she didn't rhapsodize on BMW's V6 engines!
