Yow, the last Datsun I had was a 1972 510. Independent rear suspension, overhead valve engine, and tons of "go-fast" parts, from "Datsun Comp" (factory race dept) and Interpart (Pete Brock of BRE fame). With factory money, the 510 use to eat 2002 and Alfa GTVs. Ah, those where the days. I think came out with race parts for the 1200, B210 and of course, 240/260/280z cars. Back then the manual to get was "How to Modify your Datsun", that was "the bible".....
