I have a 730i which is in very good nick. It has a problem with the gear box where is you accelerate hard or try to kick down it jerks 3-4 times before selecting gear. This mostley happens when going from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd. Otherwise the drive it perfect. There is some sort of oil leak from the top of the gear box. I can get a used gear box pretty cheap. Is it worth just swappign out the gearbox or could it be something else ?
