Heater only works when car is travelling, blows cold when ticking over. Any help?

low coolant level, lose pump drivebelt, faulty or failling pump.

Year/model?
Could be a bad heater control valve or low coolant level (badly bled).

... or a bad axillary water pump if it has one.
