Ask BMW - you have the reg. If you are serious the vendor should give you VIN as well.

Pose-mobile for a townie? Real car is a 645i or a Bently GT. Works abroad a lot. Job in the city and commutes by train. Weekend car. Retired owner. All sorts of reasons.

Look carefully underneath. Has it really been used off road? If so pass by, The X5 is OK to get out of a muddy field at a gymkana, but a Range Rover it ain't.

My main caution would be is that this very low milage car is od retail quality and normally main dealers would buy it in to resell as BMW approved at a huge mark up e.g. Hexagon have got an '04 with 11k @ £29k. Instead here it is with a small back street outfit in Essex. Why not make an insultingly low offer?

Having driven one of these - its a nice ride, but the 4.4 in this body is just going to get you into trouble.
