So what changes would you make to the E90 330i to make it look good?

I vote that BMW get rid of the "flame" slashes along the sides that look like a Korean automaker's idea of something "really cool" to sell to westerners. Then I'd fix the grill and front end. They "kidneys" are too flat-topped (look upside down) and there is too much slope to the front of the hood-line making it looked squashed.

Others?

Get rid of the runflat tires. I can't believe people are willing to accept that there NO spare tire. Yeah, for the first 4 years you get BMW assist-star or whatever they call it. Forgetaboutit! I wouldn't want to be stuck someplace waiting for a $400 spare tire to be shipped to me....

The idea behind run-flats is that you can keep driving on them until you can find a replacement. epbrown

For a short time. How many people are going to catch a peice of debris on the motorway at 11pm at night and get off at the next exit to get a tire? They'll run down the road because they know there's no place to get a tire until morning. That runflat tire is probably good for 50 miles of so, maybe a hundred. At that rate, BMW ought to make a nice label to wrap around a can of fix-a-flat and install it in the toolkit. At least that will fix a small puncture and actually air up the tire. I've known people to use fix-a-flat and then drive for months on the tire even though it says on the can that it's not intended for that purpose.

BMW seem to think only Americans "like" that yellow flame effect, in Europe we get clear lense covers which look much better. The E91 touring looks better (less like mad cartman ) from the rear

The rear of the 3 just looks foul, especially the majority of you see driving around on undersized (standard) wheels. Even some Korean cars now have better rear-end styling FFS.

About the only decent styling to be found is the nose. The touring does look better, but again, not on comically undersized wheels.
