Am looking for bits that show a small amount of wear. Want to avoid the "new" look.

1) It's tough to match German leather in US car interior shops.
2) Leather coats in thrify shops are IMO the best source of the thin leather you need. If you can match the texture then...
3) The leatherique(.com) dyes can make the whole seats look new and can effectively color leather of the right texture. If it's good enough for the Rolls Royce guys it should be good enough for us owners of "lessor" cars.
That's what I'd do anyway.
