Just took delivery of a 2005 STS with Navigation option. The car is great. The Audio system plays DVD's on the navigation screen but only in park. Anyone know how to bypass this to allow DVD playback while driving, for the passengner?
Not possible. Safety issue.
Just about any system can be hacked, so I'm sure there is some way to do it. But for the reasons Bob correctly points out, why would you want to? Wouldn't you rather enjoy your Caddy for a nice, long time rather than wrap it around a tree at 60 because you were laughing your ass off at your latest Seinfeld DVD?
