i have a code 21 on my 305 tpi in a 37 chevy. how can i check the sensor
with a ohm meter or volt meter. what are the paramaters? at closed
position it shows 110 ohms then when gradually opening it drops to .3 and
gradually increases to 4.7at full open.
also can this fault cause a ping?
What you are looking for is a spot where it changes radically. It's like a
volume control on a radio. You're looking for the noisy spot. Not easy to
find with a digital meter. You say it measured 110 Ohms, then drops to
.3.... Is that .3 or .3K Ohms? It should be linear, not go all over the
place. If it's bad just replace it.
