I seem to have a problem with my tranny,I "think" its a 4330LE(700r,but electronical),i might be wrong.Anyways I experience hard shifts (lift a jolt) on the first two shifts, from a stop or when I accelerate, what may be the problem?
Nice to know that general motors does nothing to fix this problem, its the failure of the valve body, I cant exactly remember the exact cause or the name of the valve that goes bad, but my 97 S-10 does it now and then, not all the time. It shifts hard into 2nd gear, actually it pretty much slams and it will break the tires loose if you hammering on it when it shifts into
2nd gear. Take it to a transmission shop asap if you plan on keeping this truck for a long time, other wise you will toast your transmission, I' need to get mine in.
I'm not sure that we have the same problem but I have hard upshifts 2 to
