Hey,
Put a stereo in my truck, wired properly and now for some reason after the truck runs for a few minutes (less than 2) the truck dies and the ground wire connected to the frame and the neg post on batt melts. I checked my connections on the fuse panel for the stereo and all is well. I have resonable wiring skills and have wired several stereos before the same way without any problems. I know there is a short somewhere but where to start. The stereo still works after this happens, as do the headlights etc, but that wire literally burns up in a cloud of smoke.

TIA
