1990 TBI 350CI superchargers

I have a 1990 chevy PU with 350CI with the Edelbrock Power PKG that includes aluminum heads, intake manifold, up graded cam, headers and so on. I have been talking with Whipple Superchargers and seems then don't make them for that model anymore. So question has anyone had any experience with other manufactures? Or a new or used whipple supercharger. The problem seems to be the TBI system

There are a few other model out there that are centrifical based and will work well. They do ont boost instantly like a whipple but the top end better and tend to heat the air less and you can usually run another 1 or 2 lbs of boost with them before you need a intercooler because of this. One realy big word of caution here. If you super charge it, NEVER run less than 93 octane in it not mater what as 87 can destroy a boosted engine in a heartbeat from detination big time. ALso you need to beef up cooling system and be able to keep engine cool under boost to help control detination as the risk of it increases with engine temp.

Doesn't Pro-Charger make a universal kit with an offset pump so you don't have to cut a hole in the hood?
