Process is rather simple. Just time consuming and tough on the hands.

1.) Make sure the window is up! 2.) Remove the inner door panel. (Should be just a few screws and plastic push on clips. Don't yank them though or they will break. Try to get under them with something and gentlly pry them out.) 3.) Peel back the plastic (If there) stuck to the door and see if you can see the two bolts up inside holding the handle. That is what needs to be removed. To get at the bolts easily I loosened the inner door skin (Dozens of screws.) and wedged a piece of 2x4 to hold it so I could get my hand in there. 4.) Loosen the bolts. Then wiggle the handle housing around until you can get to the clip holding the door and lock rods. 5.) Unclip the rods and out it comes.

To reinstall just do it in the same order. It is a bit tricky to wiggle the handle around the window tracks. But patience will get it there.

Good luck

Like I said that was the tricky part. When you tilt it just right you can see the clips on the rods holding them to the doorhandle. If I remember correctly. (Don't take this as exact. It has been awhile since I had to do this.) You pull the handle out and tilt the front towards the ground. You should be able to see the clips from outside the door. Then use whatever you can to release the clip from the rod. (Popping it down the casting of the handle usually releases it!). A long skinny screwdriver usually does the trick. Then the rod should slide out of the handle. And the clip stays on the handle. (Hopefully. Mine fell in the door once after the rod was removed. Added another hour to the project fishing the clip out!). Hope you got it ok. Good luck! and I'll check back later to see how you did!
