2001 Silverado Front Bumper Replacement

I was driving to work couple of nites ago and a vague shape appeared in the distance that looked like some cardboard. Ended up being a couch. Well the bumper did it's job. Amazingly I have no body damage and very few scratches but I've got a nasty dent in the bumper on the passenger side. I want to buy a new one on partstrain.com. The Chilton's shows a pretty easy removal for the bumper (four bolts on top, underneath the black plastic radiator cover, and two bolts underneath). Does anyone have any added info about front bumper removal and replacement, and any tips on getting those plastic pushpin thingys that hold the radiator cover on to come off and go in without too much hassle? They look like they might be easy to snap off. Many thanks.

It was real simple. Didn't know those pushpins were the spreader type anchors. Once I removed the center pin, the shell came out easily. The bumper is easy to reach: 6 bolts (4 on top 2 bottom), once the radiator grill is off.
