2003 Silverado Driving Lights

One of my driving lights has burned out. I opened the hood to replace the bulb and had to remove a cloth-like rubberized cover to access the bulb fromt he rear. However, I couldn't squeeze my hand into the hole properly and couldn't grip the bulb housing with enough force to turn it. Is there a trick I need to know? Thanks.

No I'm talking about the "alway on" driving lights below the headlights. Thanks.

Mine's a 99 and you remove the headlight assembly with the 2 L-shaped rods and then the daytime running lights and turn signal unit is just clipped in with plastic. Very simple. When I replaced mine, I used the long life

I've been able to replace those by removing the Headlights by the 2 long pins, and then you can reach in above the driving lights and change the bulb that way without the headlight being in the way.
