The speedometer has become erratic, it will appear to work sometimes and then peg out at the far end and stay there, never returns to zero. When i parked the truck this morning the speedometer read 100 mile an hour, with the truck shut off. Anyone see anything like this before I take it to the shop.
Take it to the dealer, if it is a 2004 it should be under warranty.

What did you find out? I have a 2003 acting similarly, stuck at 30 or 50 then moves up from there.

Had to have instrument panel replaced, live in a small town and they were doing 5 suburbans that day, sounds like a service bulletin item.
