2005 Colorado Light Covers . . .

Just purchased a 2005 Colorado and loving it. The front headlight covers, that are clear plastic, are nice and shinny.

My question, can anyone tell me the best way or what to use to keep the lens covers nice and shinny and clear?

Thanks, In Advance!

Keep the truck in your garage...hahaha.

I remember looking into this once for my wife's Caravan and found a pasty wax like product that was supposed to bring back the new clear shiny look. It worked but only for a few months. I think it was like a rubbing compound or something to polish the outter layer of the lens. Sorry I cannot remember the brand but they sold it at Pep Boys.

Johnson's Paste Wax works pretty good too. My mother used to use it all the time on her Convertible's back window , 63 Buick Skylark. She got the tip from my grandfather who used it on the side curtians of his boats. I've used plain old car wax, non abrasive type such as Mothers in the past with good results as long as they weren't severly discolored.
