87 chevy p/u head lights don't work . all other lights work . it seems like there is no power to the switch . All fuses are good

How about the fusible links in the wiring harness? Connects to either the starter solenoid or positive battery cable.

Bet it is a relay. Sometimes they can be swapped with another that has the same PN.
