PS If you in fact have an unlimited monthly subscription, and someone from carfax were monitoring the group, and got the account number from the report. The account would be terminated immediately, and charges for theft of services lodged at the federal level. I'm sure then you'd know how ill they think of that practice.

Carfax would prefer you not get info on a 1000 cars but, this is so much like the recording industry i.e.You can buy a CD, DVD, or whatever and make as many copies as you want. I would only copy it as a backup. Or if a friend wanted to borrow it or just wanted a copy no harm done. If you have taken a pen, paper clip or things like that from work your just as guilty of stealing as someone that steals cars, robs banks or convenience stores.

If you haven't noticed this isn't the first time that some one asked for a CarFax on this NG. Many times when a reader has had a monthly subscription they have obliged. I for one have done this. If some one doesn't want to help them fine don't, but to call that person a cheap bastard is just rude and immature. I could call people dump assess all day long for things that get asked on a NG. But I don't because it doesn't make me a better person that's for sure. People ask for help here not attacks.
