Blazer AC condensor cleaning

Blazer has AC, fortunately. Great creature comfort, for sure.

Should I clean the AC condensor?

Yes: Clean condensor works better, cools better, lower discharge pressure, lower load on the compressor. No: Might loosen some rust and crud that is covering a leak, and all the gas will come out.

Clean is good BUT the only good way is to pull the shroud and tilt the radiator back then blast the crud out from the back side.

Real world is clean between the cores, rinse off the crud and leave it alone.

If there is any "rust and crud" that will come off and cause a leak, it's going to leak next week anyway. Soak it with condenser cleaner then gently hose it out. If it has an oily mess on it, it is already leaking, so save the cleaner and buy a new condenser.
