i have a 1990 chevy s10 truck. my parking break light is blinking 12 quick times and 1 long time. ive looked in the service manual and on the net to figure out what this means but had no luck. any suggestions?
sounds like a rear antilock brake control module malfunction/failure. with the ignition key off, pull the anti lock brake fuse for 60 seconds and then re-install. see if the code comes back. You can pull codes using a paper clip. On the ALDL/DLC block under the dash to the right of the steering column, connect the upper right terminal to the second from the left on the bottom row, then turn the key on.
