Died and will not start 91 c2500 silverodo

I have a 91 chevy c2500 it had a miss in it yesterday and today i was on the highway and it just died and would not start back up. Took off the carb cover to make sure injctors were firing into throttle body, that was a ok. pulled the ecm fuse to reset it, to no avail. Does this vehicle have a HEI and would that possibly be the problem?

I'd check the control module inside the HEI. That went on my 89 and it sounds like the same thing. Real easy to fix and inexpensive too!

I have a 90 C1500 with a 350TBI. It had the same symptoms as yours. Just died on me while driving. Ignition spark OK and fuel injectors were firing too but would not start due to flooding. Turned out to be the coolant temp sensor for the computer. Found that out by shorting A and B on the diagnostic connector and key on, then reading the SES light flashes. A Chiltons or Haynes manual will help alot.
