Dual Exhaust Kit for 2003 Silverado

Does anyone know where to get a dual exhaust kit for a 2003 Silverado? I am just talking about from the catalitic converter on back. I would like to get something that sounds better. Flowmasters would be nice.

I did a complete Stainless Flowmaster 50 series Single in dual out and also using Stainless pipes out to stainless tips out the back of my 03 Silverado. It should hold out quite well. I made the system myself. You can go to a good Muffler shop and have a system you want made for you. That is the BEST way. Much more flexibility, though may cost a little more. Also keeps you from having to crawl under your truck to install a pre-made system yourself. If you do install a pre-made Kit system yourself you'll also want to get it welded up, not just clamped together.

Anyway check out

they sell Flowmaster system's there.

40 series sound great, but are always loud. I like the 50 series I have. It's still pretty loud, still sounds great like a flowmaster, but much quieter in the CAB of the truck. Much less annoying driving down the freeway. I want to be able to hear my Radio without basting it.

Stainless steel in nice. But a regular system will hold up quite well. Flowmaster Mufflers are built quite good. I'd at least go with stainless tips though. More money, but Chrome tips seem to start rusting out and looking like crap in a year. So your replacing them every year. Stainless will last. Not quite as shiny, and they will turn a little yellowish over time.

I put a stainless Borla catback system on my '03 and couldn't be happier. Great tone when you open it up, but not at all loud in the cab. The kit couldn't have been built any better. A buddy and I had the old off and the new on and running in 58 minutes from the time the first bolt was cracked. Everything lined up perfect, including the tips flush with the bumper. Didn't have to measure a thing. Another popular setup around here is a Magnaflow muffler with custom pipes from a shop. The Magnaflows are just a tad louder, but basically the same design as the Borla muffler.
