Is it possible to convert a 91 gmc with the 5.7 tbi to run a HEI Distributor without pissing off the puter too much? And if it is whats the easiest way to do it.

Thats a good question. I dont know why you would want to do that considering those 90's dist. are more-or less HEI's with newer modules. My "guess" is that the computer will not like it.

Slap one in and see what happens. Couldn't take an hour or two. I would really like to know if it works. Im not sore how you would time it? Except by ear.

Except for one thing, the distributor tells the computer to tell the injectors to pulse doesn't it? Whitelightning
