HIGN BEAMS ON 96 SUBURBAN

I REPALCED THE LOW SIDE 9006S ON MY SUB BUT THE HUGH SIDE 9005 ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO REPLACE...HOW IS IT DONE? UP THROUGH THE GRILL OR DO I HAVE TO TAKE THE WHOLE GRILL OFF? ANYTONE KN OW? HELP!!

First, you have a key on the left side of your keyboard called "Caps Lock" that needs to be used . Posting in all caps is poor ettiquette. Second, you remove the headlight assembly from the vehicle to replace bulbs by simply unscrewing the 2 mounting bolts accessible from the top with the hood open . Takes all of 2 minutes. Assembly then pulls forward for easy access to bulbs.

Yes, I believe this reply is correct, as I done it once on my '97 Tahoe. If memory serves me correctly, aren't these Screws Spline Head? Mark

Yes, but a metric or SAE 1/4 drive socket can be found that engages the splines without damage if you don't have the correct tool. They're not head bolts after all.

Well thank you gentlemen...spline head are no plroblem since I have e very size known to man..but it was a quandry.
