I've had this happen when my grandfather sold the old farm. He bought out the local Western Union store automotive section. Best place I found answers was on the internet. Just type in the information you know. And see if anyone has ever written about it. Amazing how much info is out there! Also some of the parts that don't look real old you can ask your local NAPA store about the cross reference. If they are having a slow day. (In our area that happened right after Car Quest, AutoZone, & Advance put stores within 1000 feet of the ol Napa store!) They are more than glad to help out! Be kind though and buy something more than a $0.99 air freshner before you leave!
