Just bought a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 Crew Cab.

Anybody have experience w/ these? Rants? Raves? I sold my 15 year old Dakota 318 and bought this. So far, so good....

I have a 2004 Colorado Z71 crew cab, I5 and automatic. Even though I had all four axle seals replaced as well as the fuel level sender and the fill pipe, it is the best truck I have ever owned, so far. Good on gas; 11,5 litres/100km average and as low as 10 in the Summer, combined city/highway driving. No rust yet anywhere and it is a dream in the snow. Sleeves make it easier to repair the motor if it should wear the cylinders; I like that too.

The only thing I don't like is the pushbutton 4x4 activation; wish I had a lever to yank on, much easier it seems.

Should be good for at least 20 years of service. :-))
