New Trailblazer Paint / Finish issue

Just bought a NEW 2004 Trailblazer, 52 miles on it, 2004 leftover. upon closer inspection, I see some small fisheyes on the hood and the front quarter panels. There is over spray once you open the hood. Looks like the dealer or the port needed to do some touch up before delivery. The finish on the passenger side is rougher then the drivers side. Looks like some over spray on the hood to. Standing right in front of the truck you cannot notice a thing. What is my recourse? On one hand if I would of noticed these issues during negotiations I would of bargained for a better price. Do i bring the truck back to the dealer and asked for these imperfections to be fixed? Any help greatly appreciated!

If you have bought from the dealership before and/or trust them, then bring it back to them and let them fix it. If you have no history with them or don't trust them, then bring it to a body shop and have them make up a list of stuff that is wrong with it. There may be a lot more issues than you see. If the paintjob is poorly done, as it appears to be, it will fade differently than the rest of the truck and lower your resale value. By then, though, you'll be way to late to have the dealer make it right. Don't be shy to submit the receipt for the estimate to the dealer, either. Also have the inspector take a guess on whether or not the truck really has 52 miles on it. Be nice, of course, but if they balk, let them know you aren't going to be happy until you get what you paid for.

My father-in-law bought a Silverado that upon further inspection had been Seriously damaged. The wind whistling through the door was a dead giveaway. Grease fittings on the front end, too. OEM parts don't have them, but the OEM replacement parts often do. Dealer wasn't very cooperative, but after taking it up the chain and a lot of hassle, they gave him another truck.
