Old cab on newer frame

I would like to put a '49-'53 Chevy 1 1/2 ton cab on a more modern chassis for my business. Has anyone tried this and if so, what sort of problems did you have?

I can't help you too much, but here's some frame specs

Not every thing applies to you, but do note that it is MUCH easier to start with a vehicle with the same wheel base. Track isn't so important because they haven't change much over the years, and wheel offsets can fix the slight variations. There are some other sites out there that give more specific wheel base stuff, but nothing I have applies to anything as big as yours. You did get that right, didn't you, a one and a half ton?
