Replacing Suburban Door Pins

Need to replace door pins and bushings on 1994 Suburban. Anyone have any tips. I need a special too to remove hinge spring? Where would I obtain? Thanks :?:

you don't need a special tool to take them out. Once they're out clamp them in a vice and wire them closed, put spring back in and then cut the wire with some side cuts

You may not need the special tool but you'll wish you'd have spent the eight bucks on it by the time you're done.

Eleven bucks.

You can usually fine them a bit cheaper at flea markets...
