96, Z-28 SS, 6 speed, is there a way to disable the "skip shift". If I want to put it in 2nd gear it dumps me into 4th at low speeds. This very annoying.

Yep, try jegs.com or summitracing.com. Do a search on "CAGS" or "skip shift".
