I have a 2000 Dodge Stratus and recently I started smelling a sweet odor in the car while driving. Just yesterday I turned on the defroster and the windshield developed a film all over it and the sweet smell was stronger than ever. A co-worker told me that he thinks its the heater core and that it costs 500$ to repair. I have been unemployed for one year until I pikced up this job just one week ago and really don't have that much money right now. Does anyone have any knowledge of a recall for this problem, it sure would help? Any input greatly appreciated.
