2001 PT Cruiser - Cranks but won't start

The Patient - 2001 2.4L PT Cruiser w/93K miles. Auto Trans

The Symptom - Cranks but won't start.

The car belongs to my cousin and the car just happened to die as it was being driven past my mother's house. At least its in a convenient place to work on.

The car originally had test codes P0403 and P1391.

The following were checked: Spark to the plugs when cranking - GOOD Condition of spark plugs - GOOD Prescence of fuel delivery - GOOD

The following were replaced - Camshaft Position Sensor Crankshaft Position Sensor

I believe the father of the car's owner told me he checked all the fuses.

The battery had been disconnected and allowed to remain off (not by me) for about 10 minutes. The car now shows P1650. I think the thought process was disconnecting the battery and the fault code would be reset therefore the car will start.

The car still has good crank, sounds like it wants to fire off but does not.

I checked a couple PT Cruiser links

formatting link
but there technical info is hidden in a pay area, and well, this isn't my car.

Any help would be appreciated.

wet with fuel. or totally dry? and can u smell fuel, wen sniffing the plugs. wat makes u think fuel is getting there,in sufficient pressure. sumtimes a dodgy fuel pump(in tank) will deliver fuel,at lo pressure, and the car will almost start ,but wont run. id check the fuel pressure,it mite be way tooo low
