Any ideas? I know there could be valve issues and injector issues. The timing belt has enough slack at idle to make noise on the plastic cover. What is the most likely cause? For the bobble at idle I mean.

A timing belt slack enough to slap the cover certainly won't help your idle quality. For a better answer, we need to know which engine you have and what exactly you mean by "bobble".
