colt 200 -- water inside...

hello, x-posted mitsubishi/dodge/chrysler/plymouth 1989 colt 200 (2000 series) has water (2 or so inches) on the floor. it had leaked water through the tail lights (into the trunk) but these are fixed now and there is no more water in the trunk.... it now has clear (fresh) water on the rear floor (driver side) (there's been a lot of rain here) it is a 4-door... and is now parked on an incline with the trunk lower than the rest of the auto. question: this is not coming from above... (and the weather-stripping is fine) and this is not from the trunk... would anyone have any ideas (suggestions) as to what other areas in the auto can cause the floors to flood? is there some sort of a seam that can do this? or is there a drain for the windshield that could be blocked? (there has been water on all the 4 floors but not at the same time) thank you very much in advance!

Get an extension light of some sort (bigger than a flash light) and at night in a dark area, put the light under the car, and around the door seals. From inside, you may be able to see light getting in: there's your hole. Crawl into the trunk, close it, and have the bod outside move the light around the seals. Look for light leaks.

You may need to pull the rear carpet up to check for (rust) holes in the center tunnel.
